Learning Outcomes and Application This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to identify and document current skills and plan future skills development with support and supervision.It applies to those who are preparing to work in a broad range of settings.No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.

Skills in this unit must be demonstrated in a workplace or simulated environment where the conditions are typical of those in a working environment in this industry.

The candidate must demonstrate the ability to complete the tasks outlined in the elements, performance criteria and foundation skills of this unit, including evidence of the ability to:

examples of experiences that that have contributed to skill development including personal work, life and study

sources of advice on career planning and skill development

types of evidence and methods to develop portfolios of evidence.

Assessment Tasks

Copy and paste from the following data to produce each assessment task. Write these in plain English and spell out how, when and where the task is to be carried out, under what conditions, and what resources are needed. Include guidelines about how well the candidate has to perform a task for it to be judged satisfactory.
